Practice Nurses
Anne Armstrong RGN BA (Hons) FPC and Susan Beardsworth RGN Liverpool, District Nurse Cert Liverpool, Practice Nurse Cert Hull FPC are the practice nurses who work along with Angela Phillips the health care assistant/phlebotomist. The nursing team are available by appointment only, offering the following facilities:
• Blood tests
• Well person health checks
• Over 75 years health checks
• Infant and adult immunisations
• Cervical smears
• Contraception checks
• Ear syringing
• Clinics to monitor blood pressure, asthma, diabetes and all chronic diseases
• Travel information
• Assist the doctors with minor surgery
Practice Manager
Wendy Clapson is the practice manager with Elaine Harrison as the assistant practice manager who are responsible for the administration of the practice. They would be happy to hear your views and suggestions about the service.
Receptionists
Our receptionists are trained to do a difficult and busy job, so please be patient if they cannot attend to you straight away. Please give them as much information as you can in order for them to help you; anything you tell them will be treated in strictest confidence.
Administrative Staff
As well as our assistant practice manager, we also have one secretary plus one secretary/data clerk. These ladies are here to help patients with insurance, travel or any other administration requests.
