The last bookable appointment is 5.30pm, but the doctors are available for emergencies up to 6.30pm.
Saturday Mornings
We are currently piloting a scheme for Saturday morning surgeries (8.00am – 12 noon). These surgeries will alternate between Marmaduke Health Centre and Orchard Park Health Centre. To see which location is operating the scheme at a particular time, please refer to the notices displayed in the surgeries. The receptionists will be happy to answer any queries relating to the scheme.
Out Of Hours (Weekend & Night Cover)
Outside normal working hours (8.00am - 6.00pm plus weekends), an emergency service is available for cases that will not genuinely wait until the surgery opening times. To access this service ring the surgery telephone number (323449/857190) which will transfer you to the out-of-hours service. This will not be a doctor from the practice and you may be asked to attend an alternative medical centre.
In serious emergencies, dial 999 for an ambulance.
Emergencies
Urgent appointments will be seen the same day. The reception staff will be instructed to ask details to help the doctor to assess the situation. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be seen by the doctor of your choice.
